Letter to the Editor, #1

I can’t believe the crybaby Democrats complaining about the president breaking the law to spy on American citizens without a warrant.

Al-Qaida is a huge threat, bigger than Hitler or the Soviet Union. If the president needs to break the law to protect us from terrorism, then American citizens should support him.

The above was a letter to the editor, printed in today's issue of SF's idea of a right-wing newspaper, the San Francisco Examiner. I cannot think of a better example of what I perceive as being the typical idiocy level of your average Middle Amurrican. Without even knowing this unfortunate C_____ creature, I have already deduced that she should prolly have her right to vote revoked and then she should be soundly beaten about the head before being tossed from an airplane, fully alert, into the shark infested waters of the North Atlantic Ocean. I mean, what a tard.

What this breathtakingly stupid woman seems incapable of understanding is that if it's OK for the President to break the law, the law is meaningless. Without law, there's nothing worth being protected from "the Terror" by which these silly Middle Amurricans are so enthralled. What Ms. C_____ doesn't seem to comprehend is that we live in a nation of laws. If the law does not permit the President to violate the basic civil liberties of your average citizen, he is more than welcome to ask Congress to change the law in order to allow him to do so. If they refuse, well tough titty for the President. That's just the way it works under a republican system of government where the rule of law is happily applied. This is not that difficult a concept to grasp. Duh.

When your average Amurrican advocates what is tantamount to overthrow of the federal government in order to keep the country safe from some made up boogey man in a bogus, artificial war, we as a people are in serious trouble. Al Qaida is a threat? The irony is that you, Ms. C_____, and people like you, are a much bigger threat than Al Qaida could ever possibly hope to be. The fact that people don’t see this is truly astonishing.
